ACPL is the training unit of the ministry of Bible Believing Churches & Missions (BBCM). Dr. Jay, the founder of the ministry of BBCM, was pursuing a very promising career in the field of mechanical engineering in 1970’s. It was in this decade that he encountered the Gospel for the first time. He was raised by in a syncretistic family setting where, his father was devout and orthodox Hindu and his mother, a very nominal Christian. After encountering the gospel, he sensed the call to full time ministry and thereafter pursued theological education. It was during his days in seminary that he realized his calling to be a church-planting pastor. By the time he completed his theological education, he had planted a church in Bangalore and had sowed seeds of many more through men and women he had discipled. The replenishing and watering of these seeds led to the founding of Bible Believing Churches & Missions in 1989.

The fruits of his labor saw new church plants blooming into independent churches. This caused and urge in him to seek what God was requiring him to do. In 1994, by virtue of a vision that God gave him, a training school for the ministry of BBCM was launched.
